We know that scientists use animals to discover new treatments to cure human diseases. In this moment, it is legal to have animal experiments, but there are many people that aren't in favour of this.
One of the arguments against this practice is that whe souldn't hurt them because they suffer as well as we do and if we don't want to suffer, we shouldn't want them to suffer either.
In addition, in a lot of experiments, the animals die, and we mustn't kill innocent animals.
Nevertheless, there are good reasons to experiment on animals. The first is that if we don't experiment on animals, we should experiment with humans, and we mustn't do this. Also, another good reason for this kind of practice is that we can save a lot of human lives thanks to this.
Therefore, I'm in favour of using animals for testing drugs and tratments because I think that it's worse killing a human than killing an animal.
